ATTENTION ... NEW ACTIVITY STARTING ...
If you are a family member of a resident or want to "adopt" a resident and their car, just get with Sharla in Activities and she will hold a car for you. We are having an AMAZING RACE with painted wooden cars that were donated to us. How it will work is that you will get the car and take it with you on vacation. When you get to your destination just comment back on their photo on the RACE page (and take a picture would be great also) and we will calculate the miles and it will be posted. We are hoping then that the car will be picked up and taken to another location and we can add that mileage to that car. We had such a great success with our hearts we just wanted to try something else. Thanks to everyone for always encouraging our residents and their activities. (There is no money involved for the public if you "adopt". We just know some residents don't have a lot of family that travels.) If you want to follow our activity, just go to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/679711226468353
THE NEXT BCNH BOARD MEETING WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH AT 6PM IN THE BCNH CHAPEL.
THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.

Long Term Care
There are many wonderful advantages to moving into a long-term care facility. At Bledsoe County Nursing Home, we believe in making our Residents feel at home. It is important to feel comfortable in one's own space. This is why we offer impeccable housekeeping services. Our excellent environmental staff strive to make sure your loved one is always in a welcoming and healthy environment.
Laundry services are offered at no additional cost to you as well. See the Resident Handbook for a detailed explination of homemaking services provided. We also encourage personal decorations in Resident rooms, which helps to provide a sense of home and belonging.
Alongside these services, Residents and their families no longer have to worry about meal planning and provision at home. Our fully-staffed kitchen and dining hall provides helathy, nutritious and fresh meals and snacks to our Residents. This is at no extra cost. All meals are prepped according to dietary restricitions and nutritional requirements that have been individually assesed for each resident. This individualized nutritional care planning ensures your loved one enjoys the foods they love and that are good for their bodies.
Possibly the greatest benefit to living in a long-term care facility is the provision of 24/7 comprehensive medical care. Trained medical professionals administer medications, help with daily living needs, and make sure your loved one receives the best care while working closely together to address all concerns for the Resident's healthcare needs.
What makes BCNH unique, is our location, in respect to the Hospital in Bledsoe County. Our facility is a seperate entity, but is conveniently adjoining the hospital facility, making it faster to transport for emergency services, testing, and care than most other facilities.
We encourage you to check out our website for more information about our facility. If you find that you have more questions, would like to discuss admission, or would like to see our facility, please feel free to call the number listed or use the Contact Us tab to get in touch with a member of the BCNH team.
